Agriculture and Natural resources

The Faculty of Agriculture of Lorestan University was established in 1373, 11 kilometers south of Khorram Abad city, on a land of 70 hectares. At first, this faculty started working with the fields of plant production, animal production and agricultural engineering and plant breeding. Currently, this faculty has ten educational groups including: agriculture and plant breeding, plant medicine, soil science, animal science, horticulture, water engineering, natural resources, pasture and watershed management, biosystem mechanics, agricultural economics and rural development. In this faculty, 1800 students are studying in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
