The thousands of years of relations between Iran and the Eurasian region, and in particular Armenia, have confirmed that the fate of its nations is tied together forever. Undoubtedly, managing Irans trade and economic relations as a country with a high potential for wealth production in the region, with Armenia as the gateway to Eurasia, can lead to sustainable development and strategic peace in the region.

The International Conference on Economy, knowledge management and sustainable development in the relations between Iran, Armenia and Eurasia It seeks to encourage scholars and scientists to reach the goals planned by the statesmen who have reached the highest levels of political relations. are engaged in producing relevant knowledge in the areas required and described around the conferences.

2nd International Forum on Cultural Dialogue of Iran and Arab World

The 2nd International Forum on Cultural Dialogue of Iran and Arab World will be held by Research Institute of Islamic Science and Culture, in February 2018.

The goals of this Forum are strengthening the cultural linkages between Iran and Arab World and finding solutions for smoothing the current challenges.

The South African Minister Visit Tehran, 11th-12th November 2017

The South African DST delegation, headed by H.E. Minister Grace Naledi Mandisa Pandor, will visit Iran on 11th-12th November 2017, to discuss expanding various fields of scientific and technological cooperation with Iran. In this visit, the delegateS will have a meeting with the Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology, H. E. Prof. Mansour Gholami.

Minister Pandor will also be having meetings with Iran’s Vice President for Science, and Technology, Minister of Health and Medical Education, and Minister of Energy. It is worth noting that the South African delegates will also be visiting the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB), Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, and University of Al-Zahra.

 

 

Iran and South Africa Fund Joint Research Projects

On the base of the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Iran and South Africa, 2000, the NIGEB Institute of Iran and the South African NRF, are co-funding at least 6 joint research projects.

The above projects are approved by the contact institutions between two countries and both sides will initiate new chapters of their bilateral research collaborations during the official visit of the South African Minister of Science and Technology, on 11th November 2017 to Tehran.
